As part of our commitment to providing the highest-quality cannabis-infused baked goods, we want to share important information about the proper storage of ButACake products to maintain their integrity and ensure consumer safety.
Why Proper Storage Matters
At ButACake, we pride ourselves on using only natural ingredients—no additives, preservatives, or artificial elements. THIS IS MEDICINE, and we strongly believe in keeping cannabis free from unnecessary additives or harmful ingredients.
To preserve the quality and potency of our products:
- All ButACake baked goods must be stored and sold frozen—NOT refrigerated. Freezing ensures product freshness and optimal efficacy.
- Per CRC regulations, a 6-month shelf life is mandatory for cannabis products, though cannabis itself makes up less than 1% of our baked goods. Freezing helps eliminate any confusion while keeping our baked goods fresh for longer.
Thawing Instructions
Proper thawing is essential for enjoying ButACake baked goods:
- Remove product from the freezer.
- Allow it to thaw at room temperature for 30–60 minutes before consuming.
- If you’re in a rush, you may use a microwave in 5–10 second increments, checking carefully after each interval to avoid overheating or compromising the product’s quality.
- Once thawed, consume the product within 48 hours for the best taste and effect.
- STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Keep frozen. Thaw at room temperature for 30–60 minutes before consuming. For faster thawing, use a microwave in 5–10 second intervals, checking frequently to avoid overheating. Consume within 48 hours after thawing for best quality.
